::Positive Recreation Opportunities for Kids ::

Over 220 people gathered to hear CFL legend Damon Allen speak at this year’s P.R.O. Kids: Out of the Park Annual FUN-raising dinner which took place on Saturday, April 22th. Over $30,000 was raised at the event to match children in various recreation activities in the Greater Saint John area. United Commercial Travelers (U.C.T.) Jack Kidd Council #755 was the proud title sponsor of the event.

The $30,000 was raised through ticket sales, sponsorship, a WestJet game at the event that raised $2,040 in 15 minutes, and live and silent auctions. The Brian Lund Memorial Fund also presented a cheque for $1,500.

City of Saint John P.R.O. Kids Manager Tammy DeSaulniers said it was a very enjoyable evening for all, and wants to extend her thanks to all who attended and helped P.R.O. Kids host their most successful fundraiser to date.
